Picture Perfect

Our Memorial weekend was spent with a trip to Northern CA and Oregon. This picture was taken en route to Crater Lake, OR. We met up with some unexpected wicked weather and got to see nothing of the lake, but the drive on highway 97 was just Picture Perfect!

Budding

Nothing extra-ordinary about this shot. At first I did not know what it was...later found out this was actually a budding pine cone.

Finally!!! a long weekend after a long time! I will be gone for a few days and hoping to get back with some shots that SPEAK!!!

This was taken a couple of months back, when it snowed in the Bay Area, CA...which is rather unusual for this part of California.
A short hike to Mission Peak and this was the sight that welcomed me.
